It's crazy for me to think that Chase is now closer to 1 than not. Honestly...makes me sad!!! I'm not ready for him to be a crazy toddler vs. my baby...and I'm all too aware that it is right around the corner. Chase is a really really great baby. He has been sleeping through the night since he was around 12 weeks old and has always been really easy-going. From day 1, he's really only crabby if he is hungry, tired, or needs a diaper change. He is a VERY smiley baby. He's easily amused by his big brother and sister!
He is starting to "talk" more -- says da, ma, and just plain old likes to scream/squeal in happiness as if to say "I may be easy going...but don't forget I'm here!".
We introduced rice cereal to him around 4 months (which we did with the other 2 as well) and it didn't take long for him to enjoy that! At 6 months he started having baby food with that as well. He LOVES his food and is a big boy! He currently has cereal/baby food for breakfast, lunch, and supper - and a bottle right when he wakes, after his p.m. nap, and before bed. I'm thinking he's ready to start small pieces of food...so we'll see.
Chase also got his 2 bottom teeth between months 6 & 7, but hasn't gotten anymore since. I love his 2-tooth grin!
Developmentally, he isn't crawling yet, but Addy didn't until over 9 months so I'm not too worried about that yet. He sat up right around 6 months and he rolls EVERYWHERE he needs to be :) He isn't too fond of tummy time, if you put a toy out of his reach, he figures a way to roll to it. He is starting to do some version of army crawling...so it'll be coming before we know it!
Chase is by far my biggest baby (he was at birth, of course, too!). He is around 20 pounds I think! His 4 and 6 month stats were:
Weight: 16 lbs - 61% (4 months) 19.6 lbs - 76% (6 months0
Height: 26 inches - 72% (4 months), 26 3/8 inches - 27% (6 months)
Head - 17 inches (4 months), 18 inches (6 months) - both over 98%!!!
